Excellence in Training Course Topeka KS May 11 and 12 2023
Excellence in Training is designed to help academy, in-service and field trainers as well as frontline leaders develop the skills and understanding to build and sustain a culture of learning and excellence in their organization. One of the greatest challenges for today’s law enforcement trainers and leaders is creating a training environment that inspires excellence and is most conducive to learning, retention and recall of material. Excellence in Training is an engaging and interactive instructor development workshop designed to address these issues. The focus of Excellence in Training is to seek to answer the question, “How do we best prepare the mind for where the body may have to go?” The workshop explores ways to improve the performance of law enforcement officers by delivering training in a manner that enhances their competence and confidence. In order to accomplish this, training must be meaningful, challenging, rewarding, and evidence based. Excellence in Training provides trainers with simple, proven strategies for accomplishing this mission. The principles and concepts taught in this program can be used with officers at any level of skill and service from recruits to veteran tactical operators.
